Let me explain how this works:
Cheney owns 433,333 shares of Halliburton stock, he also has the option to purchase more stocks at a set price for the next 10 years. The Iraq contracts are worth $7 billion to Halliburton. Halliburtons stocks are currently at $24.66 a share, in January they were less than $17 a share.
To make you understand further, in January Cheney's stocks were worth under $7,000,000, now they are worth $10,685,991.
