Can you get someone to co-sign for you? It will help build your credit back up, especially if you pay the car off quickly & have the asset. Good luck!

There are places you can go to clean your credit. I think they just send 1000's of requests of proof to the collections agencys and if they miss one deadline that one gets wiped.

Not sure but I know someone who is doing it now

And when the credit bureaus get those 100's or 1000's of inquiries they will determine that they are "frivolous and irrelevant" , they will assume your friend is working with a credit repair clinic, and future disputes will be denied based on that history. Do a Google search, there are 1000's of articles on it.

Try eloans.com my friend got financing with super crappy credit, 3 liens on home, all kinds of crap. They never asked him for proof of income and sent him a blank check to buy a car for $36,000 limit.

He said they has some rules. Car could be used or new, if used, cold not be more than 7 years old, less than so many miles etc.

He did not rate the time of day, was turned down by every brick and mortar bank.

He did this over a year ago, dunno if they are as loose.

              He swears by them.

Nope , that doesn't work permanently. It will be deleted if the collection agencies doesn't respond in 30 days, but when they do respond it can be put back on your credit ANYTIME. I have seen people dispute stuff on their credit for years, it will be deleted, and put back on your credit again whenever they re-report it. The
only way to have an account deleted permanently is to contact the credit grantor.

And going through those credit cleaning places will make your credit look even worse because on your credit report it will say
"managed by consumer credit counseling) which looks bad.

You mean "disputes" not inquiries. That's true too. If you are disputing the same account over and over again for the same reason credit bureaus will send you a standard letter: "we already investigated this item and its verified to remain. Pls contact your credit grantor" I know because I used to work for one of the three credit bureaus and I used to send that letter out all the time. I'm so glad I don't work there anymore, it was a freakin'
                  stressful job!
