I was just wonderin what people think of other world powers(china, france, russia, india), are any of these countries capable of putting up a fight against the united states? I know that all of the countries have more people than we do, but does technology really play that much of a role when they have the numbers on their side?

No one can really answer this question properly.
Back during Desert Storm there was slight consternation about attacking at the time, the 4th largest army in the world.
Our superior technology and battlefield tactics were the deciding factors.
