Hrm... It's possible... Though not likely. I would think they stepped up the hunt for him and may have got him as a result of being desperate to produce something positive. I wouldn't rule it out. Though the fact remains, Americans are being killed and wounded in alarmingly large numbers, and that won't help him in the long run.
