              I rode an ostrich as a child. (I grew up in South Africa)
              It's wierd...you sit with your legs under their wings, and it's damned hot
              Scary as hell too....those things really move it, and they're extremely bad-tempered birds. If you fall off you have a good chance of being kicked to death.
