spammers have bought the laws on themselves.

If you had some people (eg. 50% or more) that liked receiving spam then maybe you'd have a chance of the laws not getting passed, if you piss everyone off they'll sure as hell vote for laws banning your fucked up marketing ideas.

why not find some way of marketing that isn't incredibly annoying?

Hint: when you notice multiple products being developed to circumvent your marketing methods then chances are you have a marketing idea that pisses large numbers of people off (eg. consoles and spam)
