not sure how much longer i will last in this biz :(

lately i find myself getting bored very easy with new projects, or just outright lazy and wont start them.

Thankfully i had enough stuff going, that i can kind of sit back and cash checks for a bit, but empire is not growing anymore, and the checks are nowhere near as large as when i was giving it 100% effort.

I wish i had spent more time that i did on SE stuff since thats the only stuff that seams to run well on autopilot. Hopefully i wont lose my listings too fast :/

Just dont have drive to make galleries, freesites, avs, or even monitor my TGP's anymore! All i like to do is make actual sites, trying to optimize for SE's ... i seam to have picked up enough tips along the way that im pretty decent at grabbing the hits now, so thats good.

Anyone else ever go through spells like this before?

The Key is to focus in what you like doing.
For all intensive purposes some people are happy doing design only, while others excell in traffic and others excell in marketing.

Web heads goto recognise that for a long term position ya goto do what you like doing and genuinely like your work.

My advice is to find an aspect that you like about the business and focus on that.

Seriously I am no business mogul, I know I never will be, I am content designing and letting the business mogul do there thing. It makes a powerful combination when you find the right people to make a team for a unified effort.

everyone goes through times like this, i mean everyone. last year i was getting seriously burnt out on adult internet - this year is much better. take a short spontaneous vacation if you can... a couple of days. that's what i do.

i went throughs something like this after my birthday. stayed in the phase for a little longer than i would like to admit but i'm back now. learning new things and about to venture into something that is really interesting to me. good luck with whatever you do

I know how you feel. I have started so many projects over the last couple of years but end up getting bored & moving on to something new before I finish. If I ever do get everything finished, I may take over the net! lol

What really helps is getting a hobby outside of the net that will get you out of the house for extended periods of time.
What worked for me is going back to school, well, I need to anyways for back- up and long-term career options. When you have LESS time to work on porn, you are actually more productive because you manage your time more wisely, because you have other obligations. For me at least.

Yeah, it happens for sure man. I've taken time off more then once. I usually go away for a year, let things tapper off and come back in strong. I always seem to end up on the brighter side but of course with it's up and down's in the middle.

Haha, I took around a full year off. I pulled the plug on my network and stored my business pc's. I cashed checks from my downline the whole year and when one of them started making some serious bank it inspired me to plug back in. Good thing is, when I get burnt out on something now, I just have someone else do it.
