    anyone see that movie "normal" on hbo last night?

    lol... this movie was so fucked up. it premeried last night on hbo

    its about this guy in his 50's, has 2 kids and has been married for 25 years.

    then all the sudden he breaks down and says hes a woman living in a man's body.

    so he starts taking estrogen, dressing in ear rings / woman's clothing to work, and decides to have the sexchange operation.

    and its actually a SERIOUS movie. fucked up :\

                  Yeah....I saw it too. I thought it was one of the best movies I've seen all year.

                  I dunno if that particular movie was a true story. But there's this book by a woman who's father went through gender reassignment and it talks about what it was like to grow up and watch your father become a woman. I don't remember the title, but I read an excerpt of the book in a magazine.

                      Yep, I saw it Sunday night... It really is twisted, but it's like a train wreck.... you can't stop watching. I have to agree though--excellent acting!
