i broke up with my live-in gf of 5 years, last March. so pretty much a year apart now. sucks, no matter what the spin...

Yeah it does suck... but there are advantages to being single... SHITLOADS in fact!

Show me a a married man that would like to live the single life for a while. All the married guys I know... I've seen the life slowly drain out of their eyes until there is nothing left. They are all pussy-whipped zombies now... most of them with kids. I wouldn't trade my life in for that in a million years!
