I wouldn't. Numbers have sucked all week. The last explanation had something to do with an air conditioner repairman screwing something up. No joke.
I know we are FAR from one of their largest accounts but I do not think they would want to lose our business...however...If things do not change real quick then that is likely to happen.
couple of times i was told they had to restart stat servers,, not sure what that really means as far as signups, but they assured signups were still being accounted for

Perhaps those that did not hit bad servers...Maybe somebody can explain the DRASTIC cut in rebills as well....
I'm just a reseller, but my epoch stats have looked fine over the past few days.
Actually the week before last sucked really bad, but this past week and today have been great actually.
Not that I think the week before last had anything to do with epoch, I really don't know, but I'm much happier checking my stats today than I was on last Monday.
Really the only way to measure a processor is to know how many surfers you sent to them, how many got approved, how many got declined and how many vanished into thin air (e.g. backed out of transaction, server problems, etc..etc...)
These threads dont make a lot of sense to me because most of the time people are guessing that processor is the problem when in all actuality during a day joins come in cyclical patterns, so if you change processors at the bottom of a downcycle then the processor you just switched to will suddenly look like a godsend.. and the original processor looks bad.
I can send 100k joins to a tour one day and make 300 joins.... send the same exact traffic the next day and make 150... the next day 400.. the next day 190...
Processing is really not as complicated as people make it out to be. Customer arrives, join page is displayed, fields are filled out, form is submitted, rules are applied, decline or approval is returned. Sure some processors scrub harder than others, but they are largely now all scrubbing about the same imho.
Bottom line... if you're focused on daily cycles you should get a good ulcer medication.

Hooper is correct. These threads don?t make a lot of sense to me either.
Sign ups are normal here. Yes we cycled some servers a few days ago and had a bad thermostat that caused a problem, but that was a 10-minute thing.
Maybe some reasons for lower sales yesterday, and I?m just guessing here, but just maybe:
1. The President of The United States of America was on TV preparing the world for war.
2. It is Spring Break in the US and the College Campuses are empty.
These are just 2 factors that could lead to slower or lower sales.
If an EPOCH client thinks sales are off and has any hard data (logs) on how many sign up requests you sent to the Join Form on any day and that day was a ?good day? for you, let us know. Then, when you see a lower number, first compare the stats on that basis. We just deal with requests, so lower web traffic, hits to your sites, etc are completely beyond our control.
I think it is pretty widespread knowledge that we do everything we can to sell your products to those you bring to the Join Form and we do one of the best jobs in the industry to keep your members. We have one of the best ?up time? records in the industry. If we are down, yes sales will be affected. Otherwise, without hard data on the number of people that made it to the form, we can?t correlate lower sales with anything here.
And no? we have not changed our scrub.
Please call or email your sales rep or our 24x7 Tech Support at ext. 320 if you are experiencing any problems. We can?t fix everything, as everything is not in our control, but we can help. We are aligned: The more you sell, the more we sell. So we are here and listening.
