I see the Israel - Palestine situation as basically unsolvable. I feel neither side is "Right" (I am of course ignorant about what is REALLY going on), but I have a lot of sympathy for the palestians.
I see both sides with valid points and neither one will concede.
How would Americans feel if someone walked in (Let's call them Duseania) after a few thousand years of living in North America and told them "This is our land, get out". Think they'd go quietly? People are innately stubborn.
That having been said, imagine Duseania had an incredible military 8 times as powerful as the USA's, and another superpower was backing them financially and with military support.
This is how I believe the palestinians see things.
It's just sad, unfortunately. Two people fighting for something they believe in their hearts that they are right. No way to solve that.
