I just checked CNN's website, and read their version. Here's what one of the protesters said:

                                                                                                                                                                                                    Key words here being "as the bulldozer lifted a pile of earth". I would imagine it's pretty fucking difficult to see what's in front of a bulldozer as it's lifting up it's load.
