What I'm saying is that the words "Where the best" ain't worth shit anymore case it's been driven into the ground. If a sponsor can't come up with something a little more original then "where the best" then it give me reason to wonder.

If your truly the best then you would not have to say it case others would say it for you!

Anyway - sponsors who think that webmasters sigh up with them because they clam to be the best are sadly mistaken. If anything it's a waste of space that could be used allot more productive.

For example - rather then wasting space with "where the best" have something productive like "click here to chat with a live rep".

I wish someone would copy right "where the best" so I wouldn't have to see it anymore!

Actually I don't use the words best or biggest to promote my sponsors case the way I see it they've heard it all before and it doesn't work anymore.

If anything, it turns people off!

For example, one of my sponsors was the first to bring high quality streams to the net and they most likely have the largest selection - but if I go yelling about it it's not going to do me any good. What I rather do is show them.

Talk is cheap - content talks!

I agree, saying 'We're the best.' isn't going to get you anywhere with webmasters....they are numb to that.

HOWEVER, I do believe details such as:

- paying on time, everytime
- free sponsor content
- payout info
- any extras ie: no popup tours etc etc

...are an important part of selling your program.

Just because many programs offer free sponsor content, doesn't mean I shouldn't let webmasters know that we also have content...

Also, a 'good reputation' is very important in this biz and should most definitely be used in your overall review of a sponsor.

These are all important factors webmasters need to know in order for them to make the best choice for their traffic.

nope, they should say we convert 1/125 and retain for 3 to 6 months. , then show a chart, 1 sign up per
day = XXXXX sign ups per month = $ XXXX.XX per month they ALL lie. Send a few 1,000 hit 2 one, you get NO sign ups, they want another chance, or they have a fucked up CC processor, don't change and wonder why you are not send'em traffice any longer.

I hate that too... "#1 program on the web" and "Highest payouts" are used so much ya don't even notice it being said. When you can come up with some innovation or reasons that your program is different than the others, it goes alot further.
