You are all entitled to your opinions the same as I am entitled to my opinion that heavy punk and death metal are less appealing than stepping in a big pile of shit. If it were anyone other than the two of you Amp and [Labret], I might argue that the hater was a small minded music hater, but you both have well rounded appreciations of the finer things in life and have at least given her music a chance before saying that it is shit. I'm not a man-hater, lesbian, or a rape victim and yes, her concerts can be full of that element, but I like her music enough to go and enjoy despite the rallying.
It is inferred that she herself is a rape victim (although I've never heard it confirmed) but I gotta say I've never heard the thing about 'singing from her womb'. That is just a bizarre statement whether true or false.

Yeah she has a real wierd lesbian following... I hated the crap at first, but her music speaks to some very intuitive women that I've known... I'd never go to one of her shows, but I do respect her skills... Women are wild frenetic creatures -- she sings like a pathetic dying animal... but there's something to learn from her unique sound... bringing some of us closer to understanding these mystical female creatures... I came across Tori in my formative years and found her music to be thought provoking. I appreciate it from a pianists and singers view as well as I am both myself. She just spoke to me when I first heard her and her music has stuck with me through the years. It has been interesting to see/hear her evolve from the 'whiny' rape victim, through the angry woman phase, to her music now which very much represents her life as a happy wife and mother.
Again though, these are just my opinions. Everyone is entitled to their own hates and likes.Comment

I've been to three of her concerts, and while there are plenty of gay guys and bull dykes there are plenty of hot straight women as well. My current girlfriend and I met at a tori concert. If you dont like her music you did the right thing by not going to the concert as its not music you can just listen to once in a while and enjoy. Its one of those things you either love or hate.
