              Brazil is pretty bad as well. Apparently, kidnapping has been so bad that rich and middle class people have to live in walled / gated complexes.

                  would be nice to have a list of the cities averaging the highest crime rates...

                          I lived in Rio for a year and I would say it is dangerous if you walk around with a ton of gold and flashing cash all over the place.

                          I had a few problems with street kids running up to us and trying to go threw our pockets but you just beat them off like flies.

                          For the amount of girls and the asses on these Brazilian girls it is worth dying for. I plan to go back next winter if anyone wants to join me !

                                      It's pretty bad these days because of the drug dealers, but it won't be this bad for much time. I've been in Rio just once in February 2001 and it was pretty cool there.
