whats your worst life crisis ?

mine is 5 years ago when i got an infection in my colon
lost 20% weight in 5 days and my shit where 50% blood
my colon where so infected it got 3 times the normal size
it looked like a rope on my stomach
before the doctors diagnosis i could only think of cancer....
when i got the news it was "only" a really bad infection and that i had to be hospitalized for 3 weeks it was the best news i got
in my whole life.

so whats your story ?

Gosh I'm sorry to hear that GoLiaT.

Mine was when I was in Canada and got a call while I was crossing the border into Canada that my aunt had died in October of this year. Her funeral was set for when I got back in the states. I was told to stay put. I was a wreck the whole weekend.

For me it's been an ongoing thing since I was 14 years old. There's a leg disability that runs in my family that affects mainly the males. Some got lucky and didn't get it while the rest got fucked and go it. BUT for most it only really started to affect them in the late 30's so prior to that they were able to do anything that they wanted.. BUT for me it started at 14 years old and it got worse and worse. Now walking for me is a very hard task and requires a lot of energy. It's very fucking depressing and the looks and comments many people make just makes me wanna load a gun and shoot them right between the eyes. High school for me was not a fun experience that's for damn sure.. Now I'm 29 and my legs are extremely bad and they will only get worse. If things keep up at the rate they are going at now by the age of 35 I'll be lucky if I can walk at all.

then of course when I was 17 I had a spray paint can explode in my face. Caused 2nd degree burns all over my face, neck, arms and chest. My long hair got burned to shit.. But I ended up with no scars which is good.

There has been a lot of things in my life and hard to pinpoint just one. I guess if i had to pick just one I would have to say when my mom died two years ago.

She was very strong headed and never listed to a thing I had to say. Our relationship was never good, I guess I was always a disappointment to her, but we always shared this deep connection that is so hard to explain.

When she found out she was dying she made me promise to be there at the moment she passed because she was afraid. When the time came I was asleep in a chair with my head resting on her bed and something made me wake up. I looked at her and I just knew it was her time. I rubbed her hand and told her that it was ok to go, that I was there with her. With that she took her final 3 breaths and died. Damn her, she had to pick that moment to listen to me for the very first time in her life. Not sure if i will ever fully get over that.
