Did you know, when I was a driver.... I would routinely get stuck spending the night in places like downtown Philly, or south Cicero in Chicago, or Yonkers.... etc... waiting til morning to get loaded up. It's illegal for me to have a firearm in the truck. The fucking thugs can carry machine pistols, but I can't protect myself because then I'm a criminal.

I don't believe that people who smoke weed are criminals any more than someone who drank a beer was a criminal in the 30's. Laws should be made against criminal i.e. evil, exploitive, brutish behavior. Law should not make criminals out of otherwise normal, civil people.Comment

I agree with you dig on the dope thing.... my point is (and has been), don't bitch about the cops when you KNOW full well there is a price to pay for something you're doing. (not you in particular here) The same guys I always see here bitching about how bad the cops suck are the ones that keep saying "well, I had a suspended license.... or I only had a fuckin' ounce on me.... bastards got no right!"

No, but once I got out of a "no proof of insurance" ticket. It was a highway patrol officer who pulled me over and I didn't have my insurance card in my car, it was at home. The officer told me the fine for proof of insurance was a lot , around 1k, so if I knew for sure that it was at my house, he would follow me in his car to my house so I can show him. My house was around 10-15 min away, and he followed me to my apartment. He even poked his head inside my messy place and asked me if I lived all by myself and I told him yes. I found the insurance card, showed it to him, and that was that.Comment
