I used to live in an apartment that was on a high floor. It overlooked the whole city. I could see lots of street and intersections and late at night I would always see cops turn on their flashing red and blue lights just to get through red lights that had no cars around for blocks.

Can cops do that?

What urks me is every time I pay increased insurance rates for God knows how long -- I will be reminded of how much I want that fucking cop to die, etc.

Yes.. the Florida statue says that if you are in the lawfull preformance of your duty. Which basicly means your a cop who's on shift.. you do not have to obey traffic laws though you do have to drive in reasonable and prudent manner.. whatever that means lol..

Haha now you got me freaked out... I want to avoid Starke at all costs... I got a speeding ticket in David Crockett (bullshit town) Texas once... For going 10 miles over the speedlimit in the fuckin desert... The cop was hiding behind some rock formations in the damn desert! Anyway, the shit was so backwards, the cops would point their finger at you and the judge even showed me his gun... I hate these small towns...

i love it when people bitch about cops..... hehehe.... if there were no cops in this country, 98% of you wouldn't be typing on GFY right now.... because there'd be total anarchy in the streets and most of you would be either dead or cowering in some alley behind a dumpster hoping you don't get whacked before sunrise.

I respect the law due to that we ALL have to live safely together. I have nothing personal against cops in general, but their training. What I can?t fucking stand is how you have to sit there and answer question like a monkey. I feel its humiliating answering questions about where you are coming or going etc. What I hate the most is when they lie to you.

I was pulled over at 3:00am coming home from a coffee and smoke refill (7-11). Like most of us we work all hours. So 3:00 am to me is like lunch break for the suckers that actually work for a living. The cop pulls me over for no reason and asks a barrage of questions. I did not feel like being a monkey and answering them. So I handed him all information and told him to write me a ticket and we will see each other in court in a couple months and nothing else. He lies and tells me he is doing an investigation and I have to answer his questions. I said no I don?t due to you?re holding all my information on who I am, vehicle info, etc. He asks me to step out of the car and then handcuffs me and makes me sit on the curb like a criminal-fucking monkey.

He runs all my shit and finds out that this 36-year-old webmaster is clean as a MF. Then another cop pulls up with a dog and the first cop asks me if he can search my truck. I said ?NO? and he signaled the cop with the dog. The cop-dog runs around my truck a few times and sits down. When the dog sits down on command guess what? I ?Could? have some illegal substance in the truck and they now have PC to search. (What a fucking joke)

Nothing, they found not one thing. I am not dumb enough to drive at 3:00am in a new truck with some thing to get busted with. At this point I asked for his supervisor (In front of the other cop) He said I could go and handed me back my information. I asked him where he was stationed and he asked why? I said I want to file a complaint and he asked what for. I told him I am sure your watch commander will give you a copy. He just walked away.

So I drove to his station and asked for a complaint form. They gave me an 800# to call and asked for the details. Few days later I filed a complaint and sent a copy to every one. His watch commander, Vice, ACLU, and the Chef with the detail on how he abused his authority in other good shit I found on cop hating web sites. I also sent fallow up letters asking if he has been reprimanded or needed extra training. My letter also stated I was seeking council for his abuse.
I never heard back from them or any one. (Except the ACLU) I can say I have passed that cop more then a few times and he will not even look at me.

Sorry for the long post, but if you did not do any thing wrong stand up for your rights. I also found out if you want to fuck a cop over. Corn-hole his ass with a pen.

i think that's because they're required to. But I know of lots of non-cop people that would do the same when they go out somewhere because it makes them feel cool and bad or something.... it doesn't. It just makes them dressed in black with a weapon.

Xanx, if you pulled me over for speeding 10MPH+ over the limit, I'd probably get a speeding ticket. What was your "over the speed limit" threshhold (for example, you pull over someone going 15 MPH over, but not someone over 5 MPH over), and why in the heck do all the hot girls I know *always* seem to be able to talk their way out of speeding tickets?

I used to hate on cops when I was younger but as you get older you realize how necessary they are and how shitty their job is. Not to say there aren't asshole cops, but most of them are pretty decent if you're decent to them.

Well I'm guessing you mean being fucked over by the pen you mean what happens when someone complains in writting? The answer is it sucks... Every complaint filed in writting HAS to be investigated. It's a law here. So that means the cop weather or not he actually did someting wrong is going to have IA stuck up his ass for a month or so.. All the traffic stops that he and others may have been doing for years that are iffy as far as PC now make him look bad. So even if he is found not to have done anything wrong there will still be a show of that investagation in his personal file... so yea it sucks

For me it's 12mph but I still didn't even stroke somone for that..I was more into catching crankers and let traffic guys worry about speeders..

here's a short story about the last time I got pulled over back in 1995....

going home from work.... long road, back country.... about 20 miles to the house.... not another car anywhere on this road. Was doing about 85.... daydreaming and tired.... cop is coming down the road toward me... and I'm watching him. Still daydreaming. I fly right past him doing 85 on a 55 road. So I pulled over, waited for him as he turned around and came back. When he got to the car he asked if I knew how fast... I said yep. 85. He asked if I had seen him. I said yep. Told him I was tired and on my way home and was not really paying alot of attention to what I was doing. He said okay. Wrote me a ticket. Said have a nice day. And I went home and he went the other way.

End of story.



It's a real simple fucking system guys.
