I only saw a dead coarpse...this guy was swimming in some dirty lake besides my house, and when he dived from some boat, he got pierced through metal pipes which went in his head and his stomach

I saw a guy waiting at a bustop get hit by a car, his body flew about 10 feet in the air and about 20 feet across the street. I'm not sure if he lived or died, but he looked dead.I post on GFY so that when people ask me what I do,

but before that when i was a kid i saw an older man who lived down the street die of a heart attack on his driveway, a kid who went swimming in the river and got his foot caught in a shopping cart being dragged out of the water by the police, and another guy i presume who died cuz they were pounding his chest forever by the side of the road. I found my old roommate/friend after he shot himself, point blank, in the head with my 9MM. I went to go wake him up to go to a club... and when I tapped him on the leg to wake up, and got no response... I flipped the light on to find the spookiest shit I've ever seen.

one of my friends came home from school one day when he was 14 and was the one to find his Mom who had shot herself in the head. I never heard him talk about it but his now wife told me a long time ago that her brains were all over the place.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I saw my grand-dad die, about 10 years ago. He was 87, and had been about to die for months.
Me, my mum, and a nurse were sitting round him. (my dad had gone to bed). My grand-dad was having problems breathing, sounded like he had liquid in his lungs. Then there was no more noise, but me and my mum did not realise that he had died, until the nurse closed his eyes.
Unlike the other responses in this thread, it was not shocking, because we were just waiting for it to happen. But it was still profoundly moving.Comment

I have. When I was about 10 years old.
I was at a neighbor's house when I heard a loud crash. It was the sound of a car crashing into a pole on a corner a few houses down from where I lived. I ran out into the street and saw a car on fire at that corner, and I ran into my house and yelled at my my mom to call the fire dept. I then ran to the opposite corner to see what happened.
I then stood on that corner and saw 2 people, completely doused by spilled gasoline and on fire, burn to death. That was pretty fucked up. But the most fucked up thing was the fact that I remember looking around me, as I looked hopelessly on (I was 10 years old), and I saw about 10 adults standing around me, looking onto the scene, and nobody did shit to help the two guys burning to death... they all just looked on and didn't even think to help those two guys burning to death.
Ever since then, whenever I see an accident, I stop and try to help out. I don't *EVER* want to be one of the unhelping people on the corner again.Comment

I was at a rave many years ago in the "chill out" area.
Some guy came in looking pretty green and sat down against the wall. About 5 hours later we came back and he was still there looking even greener.
Another hour later or so a load of paramedics rushed in with bags and started frantically trying to revive him but too late, he was gone, OD.
I remember once the word went round the "chill out" area was no longer chilled out in the slightest and everyone who'd taken acid began to climb the walls in horror before rushing out.

Ive seen more death then I ever want to, Ive seen a 2 year old that was thrown through a windshield burned bodies heads blown off all types of death. 10 years as a paramedic the worse is when they are younger or around your age and you are talking to them on the way to the hospital and they die right in front of you. Ya hear their last gasp of life the monitors start screaming then you go to work. The kids that I have worked on and the few deaths that were murders kinda of messed with my head. I still think about the 2 year old and a 20 year old and the construction dude that had his head smashed in by a steal beam my first 6 months as a paramedic. I guess the worse was the mass causaltites on the uss truman.
a bunch of men were working 4 decks down and the sewage pipe they were working on was still active and it bursted filled up the lower deck with meth, and raw sewage. bodies every where, couldnt do shit about it for 9 hours after it happen had to drain all the sewage with huge pumps then I went down in body recover picked this dude up that weighed 300+ lbs + his dead weight me and 4 guys as we were taken him up the ships ladder his neck got tangled in the rungs and we didnt know it and cont to push till you heard his neck snap that was one hell of a scary feeling.
SO yea I have seen more then I ever wanted to.

I was in the room when my grandfather died. It was pretty peaceful, as far as death goes. He was in his 80's, his body had basically shut down and my father had been decent enough not to hook him up to everything, as it would only have given him another few days. My Dad and I were the only ones in the room. He had been breathing, but with some trouble - he wasn't alert at all. He took a few really struggling gasps and was gone. That was 18 years ago, and I'll always remember it, but at least it wasn't violent, and I'm glad we were there with him

Seen a guy get killed in a car/truck accident about a month ago. He was dead inside of his truck and they had covered him in a white sheet while they cut the door off to get his body out. This fat bitch in her mid 30's is the one who hit him. She ran a redlight and slammed into the side of his truck. I felt kinda angry because this guy was dead in his truck, and she was perfectly fine just standing there whining about her neck being hurt. It was spooky shit. I couldnt get that image of his body still in the truck, still sitting up straight, covered in a white sheet. You could see the outline of his head perfectly fine. It was sorta tilted sideways. I felt really really bad for him. Just crossing a intersection and getting hit by some dumb bitch who didnt pay attention to a red light.

At this coffee house I frequent, this drunk girl was crossing the street last year. All the sudden, SPLAT. She was all over.
Also, a few months later I was at the mall(Garden State Plaza) and the security guys were chasing this shoplifter. They chased him all the way up to the third floor of the parking garage. We're lookin up here and all the sudden the guy just hops over the side and takes a dive. SPLAT.icq 279990726
