Dear GFY,
Someone we know well and all like is going to have some surgery over the holidays that will set how the rest of her life goes.
She is spending 2 weeks in the hospital and will need another 2 weeks of recovery time at home. Which means all of December is gone. A $1,500 contract was lost because of this.
She has NO ability to work in the month of December and is - being blunt - broke for the holidays. She can not afford to have a holiday dinner, send out cards to family, nothing. This surgery is going to drain her physically, mentally and financially for a month+.
I have decided that who better to help her out than the community she loves so much. GFY!
I will be organizing the donations. I have her home address as well as hospital information that you can send to. You can of course chose to have your donation displayed publicly or ask not to have it displayed and have an anonymous donation.
