ever stop to think maybe you need a different prescription? you may need one prescription for seeing daily things and one for reading.

Also, I know with my contacts, if they start to get dirty my eyes become ultra-sensitive to light which causes me to squint watching TV or monitor and sometimes even makes my eyes water... this may have something to do with it too, they might be a little dirty, in which case it would effect your ability to see clearly
