What Camcorder do you use to shot your video content.

Just wanted to ask you webmasters out there who are shotting there own content. What Camcorder do you use to shot your video content with? I just paid 4,500 for a deal, for the Canon XL1S Camcorder that is coming with 7,500 wroth of stuff. Just wanted to know if the Canon XL1S Camcorder is used by other people in this biz as well, and is there something better that is under 6K.

    Thanks.

As I learned earlier on these boards, People prefer the Sony because of the screen caps. I have goofed around with getting good screen caps and I am now able to get the same quality as the Sony, It just takes some knowledge of your graphics package. The XL is a better camera though. The only place I see the Sony used over the Canon is in porn. I own an XL and it works just fine. I find I use my GL2 more and let my partner shag the XL. Do some home work and find this out for your self. There are very few people on this board that know much about what types of cameras to get, Most of what you will hear is regurgitated flimflam that someone else posted.

You can get an XLs on Ebay for under 2k....

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

The XL1 is pretty bulkly, I finally found a leather case that fit onto airplanes; but the aluminum case was way too big. You also tend to use the XL1 looking down at the because of the handle. I felt more like a reporter with it.

I switched to the TRV-900 and love it. I miss the image stabliziation of the XL1 and will probably go with the GL2(?) next.
