I was kidding. As others have said, this case will likely turn out to be much stranger than it has appeared. Its obviously not the simple abduction people thought it was.

She's a teenage girl, of the age that is often into sex, drugs, running away, boyfriends, and other things. She is not an 8 year old kid. When the truth comes out, I bet it shocks many of us.

This girl didn't fall in love with a fucking hobo, she was abducted at gun point, and they eventually broke her will. Probably with death threats to her and her entire familly. I will be very suprised if it turns out differently.

Remember being a freshman in high school? At that age some girls seem like they are 24 and some seem much younger. This girl seems like a little girl to me, not like she was out to party but maybe naive and easily convinced of some religious nonsense by that guy.

The guy is probably wacked out of his mind -- but never underestimate the power that women have... I know girls that would spin the daylights out of anyone here. Anyway, why is a "bum" any less attractive than a young man? If you go by that logic you're fucking stupid. Anyone knows that a smart woman will choose a more intelligent/powerful man, and power is definitely not described by youth... in fact it's usually an older, wiser man that has cast off the bullshit societal indicators of status that is really more powerful... All these sad upper-class people that bitch about brainwashing -- don't understand that it takes game to recognize game... Bitching about the Hari Krishna's having so many people working their farms -- why say the word "brainwash" with such disdain? Your ego's money is threatened by people that don't require lots of money to sustain a very high standard of living, in fact a much higher standard they enjoy than you realize... whilst you eat your crappy toxined restuarant meals... Anyway I don't hate people that have way too many "belongings" -- I'm just trying to make a point that hate and disgust can produce ignorance... I do not encourage anyone to go after a girl under 18... it's definitely problematic... but I'm not going to judge anyone that has made that decision... I suppose it's up to our judicial system to get as many facts as possible to determind a resolution -- I only hope that smart people hand down the decision so that justice is served correctly.

Most organized religion is founded on the principal that the majority of people can be cajoled and brainwashed into abandoning any individual spirituality in pursuit of an "afterlife salvation", usually collecting massive amounts of contributed profit in the process. It's the greatest racket ever conceived by man. I'm not sure all cults fall into this category, but many use the same techniques to attract the weak-minded, and the downtrodden. Cults are like the spin-offs of popular TV shows.

Reading this thread it seems that some of you have never met a 14 year old, girl or boy.

Maybe she wanted to rebel?
Maybe it was more exciting than being at home?
Maybe it was safer than being at home (Dads can abuse as easily as bums)?
Maybe drugs were involved?
Maybe she was grounded for running up a $200 phone bill?
Maybe she was pissed off she had to keep her room clean and do the dishes?
Maybe her parents did not like her new boyfriend?

Maybe she was just another fucked up 14 year old?

Maybe the "Abducter" let her do what ever she pleased, when she wanted to and how she wanted to?
