    I've never had a problem with GoDaddy.

    I just got a few names here, they were free...so I'll give them a shot. http://www.allproregister.com/

      Don't know about the best, but I've never had a security issue with directnic after 100's of domains and several years.

        GoDaddy's been great, it's cheap and if you wanna transfer a domain, they'll call you before they actually agree to it
