                                                                Hell, if we actually controlled the region's oil when this was all done, I might be more into it. We'll probably just roll over and let it get fucked up(by our standards/beliefs) again within a generation anyway. I'm not really feeling threatened by any nation right now. I think North Korea is just looking for some more handouts, and then they'll settle the fuck down.

                                                                Also, most US Citizen's won't get any closer than CNN to this "war" (me included). So it's real easy to get gung ho about it, since we don't have to duck. If they started running a draft, this shit wouldn't fly.

I meant if the ass of Joe Schmoe was on the line, instead of our current military personel, you'd see a lot less enthusiasm for military action. But I highly doubt the people who are offering themselves to the service of our country are thinking it will be a cakewalk. And even less so about "bragging rights".

                                                                                                                                    Our vets have taken their lumps in the past. Remember Vietnam? I haven't met a vet yet who was eager to brag about the war they were in. Talk about it yes, but brag?
