Hey, I got a question for you.

Is it hard to get from London to Blackpool via train? I cant find any direct flights.

Remember when bands actually were liked because they played good music and not because they looked like freaks? *Sigh*

Remember when people would comment on bands that they had actually heard before?

Dont judge a book by its cover homo.

Go back to looking for traffic for your pseudo pedo sites and forget you ever saw this thread.

Great fucking band. Their cover of Hallowed Be Thy Name rox my sox.

I even did an English report on their songs in high school. Teacher loved it.

Just did a quick check for you and it looks like there are 3 direct trains to Blackpool North Station daily from London Euston Station, there is a small airport outside Blackpool or you could fly to Manchester then go by rail or bus to Blackpool - hope that helps.

Cradle of Filth kinda suck nowadays. They're like the Backstreet Boys of metal.

Cradle of Filths music, structurally, lyrically, production wise, and basic song writing is no short of omniscient.

I have Studio Engineer friends, whom jaw dropped when I introduced them to Cradle of Filths music.

Their talent cannot be discredited because of what they dress up like to go on stage.

Cradle of Filth blows away almost everything out there right now. As far as modern music is concerned.

I've become a Cradle Of Filth fan as well...when I first saw them, I figured they were just another Marilyn Manson clone....but once I actually gave them a listen, I became a huge fan...

hmm, my first encounter with Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids was probably around '93 or so, just before Portrait Of An American Family came out...I didn't see COF until last year or so (I know, I'm a Johnny Come Lately) ;))

Manson had been playing for awhile before Portrait, believe it or not, I was a Nothing Records release party for Pop Will Eat Itself in new orleans when i first came across manson, Manson opened the gig, dessed like Willy Wonka. Purple velvet with the lollipops and all. this was 92-93.

PopWillEatItself has been around since 89 or so...

well I didn't know much about them at all until I moved to the UK. I thought they were new and got told off by a my uber goth friend for daring to say so.

first time I can remember hearing about MM was around '94 but I was lame in school so I didn't investigate them.

and actually thinking about this...when was that ever the case?

The Beatles were freaks to the parents of their fans because of the long hair.

                                        Kiss did the makeup thing.

yup, I'd heard some buzz about them around then but didn't get a chance to catch them until they played with Nine Inch Nails not too long before Portrait came out...

I get shunned on the VegasGoths list a bit because I still enjoy Marilyn Manson (Portrait is still one of my favorite albums) but damn they are entertaining and fucked if MM isn't a marketing genius...

i hate it when people get snobby about stuff like that. If music is good it is good..who cares if it fits in with anything.
