    Rent a TGP - a new concept

    Anyone have ever rent/lease a big TGP site? Was sucessfully for you or got headaches?

    I will start a big non adult project that require full time and may temporary "kick" my sites.

    Opinions are welcome.

                  - a 120k/day thumbs TGP site.
                  - a 25k/day text movies TGP site.

                          You could charge them in case of traffic loss, but getting people to pay extra charges after the fact in this business is dicey.

                              That's exactly what I've thought whenever this subject is brought up. Obviously if someone is renting a good traffic TGP, it means they can't build up their own traffic. And now you are putting your traffic in this persons hands? Sounds risky to me.

                              Also, what's keeping someone from flooding their own TGP with the rented TGP's traffic?

                                      uhmm, real owner would/could monitor website's health to avoid this situations; only a knowedge guy would take website.

                                      There would be needed to accept an agreement that cover this cases.
