    Toon test 2: Dragons and Women Q

    I'mpicking a toon I did for the logo for my 'dragons and dolls' page.

    Should I go with the cartoony or hard-bit? Here are four b&w sketches before I color em' up

              I didn't know how far I could go with these but when I posted the original pencil sketches on my site that page got hit alot so I go with the flow.

              I'm gonna follow your suggestions.

              I'm also gonna push the envelope too. See how griddly I can get.

              Now wait til tomorrow when I post color versions!

                                                  Sometimes. I use a combination of programs to achieve specific effects. This color version was the 'fast mode' I'll do another one with more bite to it.

                                                  Believe it or not, some very cheap and free paint programs/graphic programs can achieve a wonderful effets that the big boys can't do.

                                                          I'm laffing my ass off because on another message board I posted the same question and one guy got into an in depth critique on how I should have colored the dragon's boner.

                                                          It was sooo funny I wish I could put it on a t-shirt. He even did his own version in color and it's priceless! Glad to have that kind of input. ( d'oh! )

                                                              SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                                                                                                                      I reckon your sketches are great, but i don't like the colouring at all. I think you'd have much better results with solid colours and shading.
