    Amazing.
He just got his ass kicked bad by a nobody.

He can kiss his future paydays goodbye.

    Sad..

He was getting a big name for himself.
    Just another Great White Hype.

Did you see right after the fight Klitscko's brother went up to the Corey Sanders dude and vowed to get revenge, haha. He said he would bring the title back to the family.

Looks like that Scene in the Ocean's 11 Movie will never come true for the guy.

Lennox wont wait or waste his time with this guy now.
Chance were he probably wasnt even gunna fight hiom before this loss, now this seals the deal.

No big day anytime soon for this Klitschko..

Maybe we'll see some more of his bro in the high profile fights.
But this Wladimir Klitschko was the better Klitschko of the two.

            LOL.
There's Nothing like that WBO title!!

I think it would serve em best if he moved forward and not mess with that belt.

It only makes your rankings dip with the more legit Fighting Bodies-Organizations when you have that silly WBO belt.

              he really really blew it.

nobody for Lewis to fight now. nobody.

Tyson and Jones is it, and I doubt Jones will take the fight.

heavyweight division is done. nobody wants to be a boxer these days from the underclass, blacks wanna play football, basketball or become rappers. Hispanics are not big enough. leaves nobody

Yeah I dont think he's done by any means, and no doubt he can beat that schmuck.

But this loss really hurts his future paydays and outlook to those major high profile cards.

HBO hyoed this guy up to what he is today, and with this loss im wondering if even they are gunna stick around and stay by his side.

                  Jones is amazing.
I heard he's droping back down to 170 to defend his other tittle he has. Then he's gunna gain the wieght back to defend or challenge other heavyweights there after.

He's gunna be working several different weight classes!

Id love to see Tyson and Jones.

That would be bank for em both and somthing Tyson is looking for.

I cant see Lewis and Jones happening really.
I could see Tyson and Lewis, Tyson and Jones, and Jones and Byrd, thats about it for the big card potentials for the heavyweights. (which would be cool if any of em happened)

With big Wladimir Klitschko out of the top card spot it really puts a hamper on things that could have been.

                      Yeah he may.

Or he could be looked at as a total fool after Jones works em.

It would be a great fight.

ya he wasn't loose at all. but still, no excuse for losing to a 37 year old who fought 3 rounds in the past 3 years. it was pathetic. the guy who beat him was looking at cracking the senior pga tour, but now he has to put that on hold because of his title belt. got beat by a golfer and part time boxer, funny.

why not? Tyson came back and he has been knocked out many times... something was wrong with Klitschko he didnt seem right he was cold etc not fighting his regular fight. I like Klitschko and with some training (he really needs better defense) he can take em all on... As far as Jones fighting some really big fighters I dont like the idea he should fight Hopkins and Trinidad or something similiar that would be interesting...

i catch all the fights on hbo... i'm startin to actually get into boxing more so now than ever..

the Klitschko fight last night was really really weird. you're right, he didn't seem right. that other boxer looked like the average joe on the street who never lifted a weight... ah, oh well.

i'd really like to see tyson / jones. although i think tyson would win, simply cause hes a crazy fucker and has too much pride to lose to someone like jones, heh.

Tyson's lacked Validity for quite sometime now.
But its Tysons established past that kept him in the game. Or the "Big Purse Fights" is what Ive been trying to say.

Its Holyfield;s established past that kept him in "Big Purse Fights"

Klitshhko has no established past. It had yet to be written. We were in the middle of a journey to be written for him when this loss occured today.
He was up till now working towards becoming that big name big purse fighter, whereas with Tyson's and Evander's they already had that established household name dynamic that is needed for the big purse prize fights.

Look at Michael Grant? Before his loss he was considered valid now he's looked upon entirely different in the eyes of promoters.
Michael Moorer, Michael Grant, David Tua, Tim Witherspoon the list goes on and on as to how promoters will look at him now with this loss as they did with these figheter after their loss.

IM not saying he's done, and we wont see him anymore.
But I am saying for the next few years he wont be considered a big name player or draw for the promotions. He still has a chance to be a main eventer and semi-draw talent but with this loss that superstar image that HBO has been hyping for him is gone.

He's gunna need an impressive 3-4 fights from here on to get back into the promoters eyes as someone who can hold a large purse fight. Someone like Lewis isnt going to spend time looking at him now.. Nor will the big purse fight promoters be looking at him to headline anytime soon. He has to re-establish himself now.

They were trying to establish Klitchko into a large purse fighter, he had yet to reach it and with this loss have failed for the time being. He'll still be around, he's a good figheter, an olympic gold medalist. But wheather he becomes that big purse prize figheter they were hoping to make him into remains to be seen and has taken a step back after tonight.

This loss is not something to oh well about.
It was a BIG loss for this guy.

Come on now. He's 26 years old. It's REALLY YOUNG for a heavyweight.

Lewis is 36 and Tyson 37... who was Lennox Lewis at 26 years old? Seriously? A big no-name.

At 26 Lewis had a bigger name in the sport than Klitschko does now.

                                        Think about it.
that was 10 years ago only..

He was already one of the bigger names in the sport.
                                        An ESTABLISHED name.

                                        Tyson, Hollyfield, Lewis, Bowe.

                                        That was it.

Oh yeah and Moorer and maybe Foreman.

But Lewis was the guy critics had most hope for and validity for.

Tyson was already looked at as a washed up fighter then.
So was Hollyfield. Bowe was retiring, and forman was entertainment value to a dying weight class. Moorer was a joke.

Lewis was the only game in town to take us forward. He was the next best thing in the heavyweight rankings at 26, unlike Klitchko who was and still is trying to prove his validity as a top heavyweight in his division.

Lewis was the flagship to carry the weight division to the future so much so that when he lost to Oliver McCalll critics were saying there were no legit heavyweights in the industry anymore.
                                        Heavyweight Boxing is dead.

                                          Here's an Ironic article.

I bet Roy Jones is laughing at this one and thinking Klitchko probably should be foucusing on his own problems and not others.

If this senior PGA golfer and beat Klitchko, Jones would have had him for lunch last night.

"Klitschko said he understands he needs to knock out Sanders to make a statement about his claim to being one of the top heavyweights in the world.

I thought Lewis was going to fight Vitale Klitschko not Wvladimer who got his ass kicked last night???

Vitale is the real deal he is the #1 ranked contender

truthfully they are both good fighters.

Wvladimer was the better one I always thought.
He was ranked lower than his brother becasue he had that silly WBO tittle. When you carry another tittle from a silly organiztion like the WBO you tend to be ranked lower in the other divisions by default.

Vaitalie lost to Byrd as I recall. Wvladimer really is-was the better fighter..

But there is still hope for big brother Vaitalie

It would have been great if Sanders had knocked out his brother too when he got in his face after the fight. Then he could have climbed over the ropes, out into the audience, and punched out their mom and dad too.

Klitchko will be back. There's no question that was a fluke.

But then again, sometimes people who are that hyped are ruined psychologically by that kind of a defeat, and never do come back completely. Even Tyson never fully recovered.

it's a shame tyson lost the plot, when you see him fighting when he was like 21, it was clear he was something special and probably would have gone on to be the greatest heavyweight that ever lived. he was really exciting to watch, had ferocious power and speed and could also box. he would have murdered lewis if he had stayed focused, kept his hunger, not gone nuts and stayed out of jail. but i suppose some of the things in his makeup that made him so mean in the ring also made him mean and mad out of it, and he'll never be the boxer he was which is a shame.

The ONLY other heavyweight fight Jones would take would be against Chris Byrd. That's it. Hell, he pretty much said it after the Ruiz fight.

He's too smart to fight anyone like Tyson. Sorry people, it's not gonna happen. (Although I'd like to see him get a shit kicking).

IF it did, Tyson would knock him on his ass like there's no tomorrow. It might take him a few rounds to catch him, but he would. Jones would outbox him and hit him with some clean shots no doubt, but he doesn't have nearly enough power to knock him out.

Tyson wouldn't try to box him in the middle of the ring like Ruiz. He's throw him up against the ropes and after a while, he'd catch him. And a Tyson punch wouldn't feel like a Ruiz punch either.

people still underestimating Lennox Lewis. Lewis beat Riddick Bowe's ass for Olympic gold. His big mistake was taking big money from a British syndicate to leave Canada and package himself as a Brit. They wasted years and years of his career.
Not to mention that Bowe was chickenshit and would not fight Lennox - that to me is still amazing, how a big strong guy like Bowe had a chance to avenge his Olympic loss but instead turned tail and hid from Lewis. Pussy.

Jones and Tyson is the fight people want to see. Jones has go to take that fight, too much money to walk away from. What's the worst that can happen? He gets knocked out. He loses nothing of his legacy losing to Mike Tyson. He has everything to gain, if he beats Tyson his legend grows.

Lewis is just too big for Jones. That would be a joke.

He fought the heavy weight fighter John Ruiz because everybody said he wouldnt fight a hard fight well he proved that he can and did just that! I've always been suspect of his defence but this other guy showed him no respect and Klitshcko wasnt even looking he didnt clinch he seemed to close his eyes and just duck and hope the other guy would go away?? Im still confused about that fight! And what happened to Klitshcko's JAB I cant believe Corrie Sanders neutralized him like so I dont buy it at all! Also they say Corrie Sanders fought 3 rounds in 3 yrs? Where the hell have they been hiding this guy? NO NO NO hehe boxing u take a time out! You are giving Hopkins way too much credit he isnt that smart :D he wants to fight whoever. Now Jones might not want to fight Hopkins but if they would of kept hyping it up like they were doing it would of happened. For some reason Don King stopped the hype? Anyways I still wanna see the fight its been along time since there last encounter in the ring show me a good fight please! :D :D

jones has more power and he's a better boxer than hopkins. he toys with fighters, but he would go after hopkins. they'd have to fight super middleweight and there's a reason why hopkins won't go up from middleweight.

apparently hopkins is going down to fight oscar.

And when you get hit that hard, it's all over. You just have to hope you can hold the guy off until your head clears. But when it happens in the first round that's not so easy, because they guy is fresh. He can keep swinging until you go down, over and over until the fight's stopped. It's not that his defense was bad, just that the first punch did him in and he never had a chance to recover.

It looks as though his older brother is gonna have to take on the spotlight. Although he is still young enough to make a comeback most of the heavyweights do.

As far as roy jones goes if any of the top heavyweights are gonna get him in the ring they are gonna have to break the bank. Cause tyson and or lewis would knock him straight to the hospital. And roy jones is not gonna go there without lots of money, He said it after the fight that he just wanted to win the belt and be a heavyweight and that he has no dream of being a legitimate heavyweight. He ain't dumb. If you think, so you must have forgot.

I think everyone knew in the first mimute that Sanders was going to win, it had something to do with Klitchko getting hit at will by Sanders.

no question about Jones, in fact Jones won't fight any heavyweight or any other weight that is a a true contender unless the money is extreme. I think he has made that clear.

The only reason I mentioned Jones was because I think he could kick Klitchko's ass.

As far as Sanders goes, they kept saying he had only fought 3 rounds in the last 3 years. yeah, well now he has fought 4 1/2 rounds in the last 3 years.

                                                                                                  On the other hand...

                                                                                                  1) Sometimes people have bad nights.

                                                                                                  2) The guy may have been a golfer who didn't fight often, but he was no more a nobody compared to Klitchko than Rahman was compared to Lewis. And more importantly, he's a big puncher. It just takes one slip up to get hit, and a big hit from a good puncher can mean the end, even if the guy is a shitty boxer. That's why Klitchko will win if they rematch.

                                                                                                  3) Klitchko was cold. He made the mistake a lot of boxers make when they don't take their opponents seriously - he didn't warm up well enough. That makes a big difference when you start getting hit by big punches.

I agree that he'll fall to the ranks of people like Ray Mercer and Michael Grant for a bit, but as long as he holds out psychologically, he'll bounce back.
