from what I THINK I understand... there's basically just one company that provides the technology to open a site like that and I think it costs upwards of 25 grand
So if you've got 25 grand to spend on the software to begin a webcam site, do it... but remember the money breakdown...
50% to the performer
11%-14% to the billing company
25% to the affiliate (unless you're bringing in the business)
Hosting fees
Advertising fees
Blah blah blah... from my understanding, it's hard to become very profitable with a webcam site

1. You don't have to use 25k worth of software to open a cam site.
2. Most camsites don't pay 15% to credit card processors. Adult Paysites seem to be the only ones that think giving away 15% of their money and not handling customer service is a good thing.
3. 50% to the girls and 10 to 20% or a straight paid for referrer is the norm with cams.
4. You get your small percentage on thousands of customers with affiliates.
Cam sites can be VERY profitable. Try telling Ifriends that their site isn't profitable.
