With The Internet... I remember we had to setup SLIP on a netcome shell account & then run mosaic. Woo the web was barren back then (but was still amazing)

June 1997. I got a 166mhz, 8mb ram, 2 gb hd. I wanted to see what this internet thing was all about. I got it home and hooked everything up on my kitchen table . It had a thing to get a concentric account on it and I was surfing 2 hours after I got it. I remember not knowing whether or not I was on the internet, I was soooo confused..
