If you are talking about a "real amateur" site where the girl is actually the personality of the site and interacts with her members through live cams shows, email, etc. I've found that as a rule the amateur site converts WAY better than the "big sites".

The "big sites" do usually pay far more on the front end than does a true amateur site. It has been my own personal experience however that a real amateur site retains members far longer than a typical porn "content site". So, I end up making
FAR more off the amateur site in the long run.

I think the key is finding an actual "amateur" site with a good affiliate prgram that pays 50-60% on sign-ups + recurring and making sure that it really is a true amateur site where the girl is involved with the members on a daily basis. That personal interaction is what keeps those guys as members for a long fucking time. My

personality is another way of saying hands on customer service coupled with something that you cannot find anywhere else... for example: a great resturaunt has "personality". It is that "x" factor that brings people back.

Many of the big paysites are now producing their own unique and exclusive content. That still does not mean they have personality. Conversely, there are many amateur sites that have personality but lack content. The site with personality is still going to hold the customer.

I have watched so many companies come and go. There is such a crazy amount of totally generic and dull content out there, and there is only a smattering of stuff that people really like or becomes cultish toward in their demand.

The companies i see thriving, from the old school video companies to the modern internet businesses, do so on the merit of thier personalities. Customer service, being unique, regularly feeding the demand of the fans is what grows success. Does not matter whether you are mega x megasite or Suzie Amateur site.

Work with the site that has personality and you will find a bag of gold nearby.

Some of our girls answer their own email and are really a part of their site. Taylor Little is a great example. She answers her own email and will be doing an on line journal telling her members about her day. She calls me daily asking if their is anything more she can do for her members......

Plus, being a "company" we offer a level of support that the average amateur can't. Support email gets answered at 2AM. And when a server goes down I get a phone call in the middle of the night and make sure it gets running again. With an amateur they won't know their site is down - And that pisses off members.

I don't see why a big program can't have amateur sites where the girl is the personality of the site. I think Lightspeed Cash is a good example.

We used to have many but they didn't retain better so we dropped them. Also the girls got burnt out and became a pain in the ass to deal with.

depends on the site. I usually join the site (if it's a revshare) to see what the members area is all about. I joined a niche site last night, from a 'big' player.. it sucked so much ass I couldn't believe it. I think smaller niche sites are better from amateurs, who infact dig the niche they're running a site of... but I always, or almost always join the site to be sure.

Agree/disagree . . . it all depends on who is running things. My amateur site had support 24/7.

Interaction is key.. Out girls answer there emails and do there daily diaries also. They girls are extremely excited about there sites and get all moist when they see how there interaction makes a huge difference.

Lately, I've been trying to work on the "world-class features" part of running an affiliate program, so I don't really talk much about the "mom-and-pop" thing we've got going on. Our sites have been a very personal project for me *and* Vail since they started.
