Okay, seriously.

I'm selling www.ethicalporn.com even though I finally got it online. It's VERY new, and so there's not much to go on yet, but I will say that it is getting a steady increase in its visitors. It is a TGP site, and everything that's on it goes with it. I'll stick around to assist or whatever and then I'm gone.

I will also throw in a couple of other domain names that I have. Just trying to clean house before I move on to writing full time, since that's what I'm good at and what I know. I already have an English degree, might as well do something with it.

Price is negotiable, but let's be serious here. I put a lot of time and work and effort into the site, and I'd like to get a little something out of it.

A lot of time? It's a simple index files with hosted galleries... takes about 10 hours to build a site like that.

I realize that you put allot of time and effort in your site but as I found out a week or so ago people are only interested in buying sites that have a shit load of traffic.

Everyone here already knows how to build web sites so they're not going to pay anyone for something they can do themselves.

If your site had allot of traffic it would be a different story but as it stands you may as well forget about selling it.

As for traffic, it's low because I've not put alot into the advertising bit yet, and don't think I'm going to do so. It has a great potential, but I'm going to be too busy to deal with it when I start writing and enjoying my work instead of trying to do what I know can bring cash. I know the site has great potential for money making, but I'd rather be having fun and enjoying what I do and making less dough. Flame away on that one.

The traffic is slow and steadily rising, and that's the main thing: The traffic is increasing. With someone who knows how to market this thing, it could be a great site.

The price I'm asking is actually quite reasonable, given the fact that it's not just this site that I'm selling but four altogether. I'm just tired of people telling me one of two things: A.) If I had the money, I'd buy it or B.) I'll give you 250 cents

Sweatheart, your asking webmasters to buy your site - believe me, they know how to build web sites.

Again, I know that you put allot of work in it but you have to remember that most of these motherfuckers do this all the time. They don't have lives like we do! They live and hide behind a computer screen all day/night long.

The only time most of these guys go out is when they have been drinking.

Anyway, like I said - the only way you would sale it is if you had allot of traffic.

What about the other sites - post URLs so we can check them out. You may have something that others may want.

What are you asking for everything?

Tala, there are only two reasons why anyone would want to buy an adult web site:

1. The web site is already making proven money.
2. The fundamentals are in place for the web site to be making money, through design, content and traffic.

Your web site doesn't look like it's making money, so it's not 1.
Your web site lacks the aesthetics to be in number 2.

I'm not saying it doesn't have potential, just think you should revisit the idea of anyone actually buying it.

Tala, realistically speaking, they're right, you won't get jack shit from anyone on this board. But, you never really know.

In any case, I would suggest selling it on e-bay. Offer a package deal, hosting, set up, support, etc.. You might also want to try selling it to an actual turnkey producing site, they'll more than likely throw UCJ2 on there and put a lil mark-up on it.

You guys don't have to be so fucking ridiculous about it. It's like we're in kindergarten again, grow up.

Anyone with just basic HTML skills could make this site in about 20-30 minutes starting from scratch. So the site is worthless.

EthicalPorn.com..... Could do some very comical stuff with that. Maybe sex in ethical places, involving ehtical people. Would make a good reality site.
