It could be an ingrown hair, that got really infected.
If you want to pop it, keep applying warm clothes on it, it will eventually make it erupt and drain... have to be careful you don't give yourself an unsightly scar though.
Other than that... Use oil free antibacterial face soap at least twice a day, it will dry your face but it's much better than using regular soap that contains oils. Don't touch it or play with it... the oils on your hands will make it worse. Apply Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 with Benzoyl peroxide, this will dry it out and clear it up.
It will probably go away on it's own as long as you wash your face regularly... putting rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide will also help dry it out too.
