Webmasters that contact on ICQ
What is it with some people? You're sitting there working away, maybe also dicking around on a few boards, radio playing, coffee brewing..... and an ICQ comes in.
"hey"
And you're like.... okay, hey what? You don't recognize the person, so you say "hello"
then nothing for a minute or two. Then....
"I wanted to ask you about ________" ... could be trading links, buying traffic or content, could be design work, whatever.
You say back "sure, what did you need help with?" ..... you know, being friendly.
Then nothing. 5 minutes goes by, you're still working, posting, what-have-you.... and you realize that the guy hasn't said anyting. So you shoot another message to him saying "Okay, well let me know if I can help you with anything"
and nothing. I get at least 1 to 3 of these people every fucking day, out of all the people that I communicate with. Has another 10% of the population gone mental without me knowing about it?
