"Little Sambo" used to be one of my favourite stories when I was a kid. Now they've pulled it from all the libraries, of course. Remember the cartoon of the tiger chasing the african boy around a tree until it melted into butter? I didn't even realize it was racist until I thought about it years later.
Yeah, you cant deny the racism happened, and is still happening. That's just whitewashing. (ahem) As long as everyone realizes that language like that is no longer acceptable, then that's fine I think. A collectible is a collectible.
