I am on the Disney Cruise with my family in the
Carribean currently.

Some of you may recall a few months back, a bunch of
cruise ships coming back sick in Florida.

Well guess the fuck what!!!!!

My 3 yr. old daughter is FUCKING SICK with the god damn
virus that got hundreds of people sick a few months ago.

Apparently.. the virus has still been here all along!
Thats right, the fuckers at DISNEY lied to me when I asked
them about this a month ago.

So, my daughter is quarrantined for 48 hours, she cannot
leave the room or ship while we stop in the Cayman Islands
and Cozumel Mexico.

The room is like 475 sq foot, smaller then most bedrooms
in a apartment building!

So.. my wife and I are stuck...

I AM FUCKING PISSED!

Just venting I guess...

Here is 2 Disney

Nothing worse then your little girl puking her guts out

When this happend a few months back, they
gave refunds and credit for future trips.

Well fuck, this was 3 months ago and this
shit is still going on.

They are replacing rooms a ways down my hall from
this issue.

My wife chewed their asses out already tonight.
The big boss is suppose to contact us in the a.m.

I am fucking pissed, give me my cash back.. and I will
fly the fuck back home!

A 3yr old with that virus is extremely dangerous. I would fucking totally demand they airlift her by helicopter to a full on hospital. Don't risk leaving her in the hands of some 2 bit ship medical care facility.

That's all that happens _right away_. Who knows what the long-term effects might be. Many diseases lie dormant for long periods of time before rearing their ugly heads and doing real damage.

Thats gotta suck, me and my wife we're going to go on a cruise this week, leaving from Florida, but we decided to drive to Chicago, we drove for 8 hours, and when we got there we went to a few museams, so we went without sleep for at least 24 hours and then we went to our hotel that we had reservations at... and since Im 20 and shes 19 they told us we couldnt get a room because of a state law, you have to be 21 to get a room, so we had to drive about 4 hours to get out of the state to stay somewhere else.

Dehydration is very VERY serious for small kids! Locking her in a room won't do anything - she needs to be rehydrated immediately! If she's puking her poor little guts up and can't keep water down, this means she needs an IV of fluids in her arm. Does she have a fever as well?

Any chance at all that it's not *the* virus, but simple seasickness (hopefully)?

Still, your little girl needs to be rehydrated immediately.

My 6 year old had this about a month ago and we have no idea how she got it. Nobody in her school or anyone we know ever got it. And we never went on a cruise.

All I have to say is it was a NIGHTMARE! We had to rush her to the E.R. and she got an I.V., Meds to stop the vomiting and she was there about 4+ hours.

This is NOT something to play around with for kids. Quarantin is BULLSHIT. Demand they provide a way for her to get to a hospital NOW.

The E.R. said it was most likely we would get it too because it THRIVES on people in close quarters but we never did. Just a headups that you may ALL end up with it.

I could have told you that there was something Mickey Mouse about that cruise line. Western Carribean is pretty nice too. Sorry you gotta miss Grand Cayman.

Update:

Disney is flying us home from Cozumel Mexico
in the morning sometime.

They are also giving us a another
week at their expense.

Atleast they can do for making my little
girl sick on their ship.

So, today.. I sat and looked out my window
at the shores of the Cayman Islands as my wife
shopped for a bit.

The best news, I am smuggling home a BOX OF FINE
CUBAN CIGARS!!

Hey JR,

Sorry to hear about you getting sick. I just now got back from The Disney Cruise today. We Boarded 3/2/03 till 3/6/03. This is the 3rd Disney Cruise in 18 months and we loved it.

Loved it so much this time around. We took her family, my family and got married on the cruise in the Bahamas

Wish I would have known you were on the Disney Cruise. I would have loved to have met someone from GFY, and I promote you

Which Cruise you take? Wonder or Magic? We were on the Disney Wonder.

I have heard lots of people getting sick on Disneys Magic and other cruise, but not the Wonder.

All great experiances for us.
