Seems everyone has to do it eventually, go from living with people to living on their own. Just curious what were the huge changes you noticed and stuff? I am so sick of the roomate bullshit. I have 3 now and I swear our house never has less then 8 people in it, when you add in the girlfriends and squatters. That is one thing I wont miss.

I think having one cool roommate is just about right. I get lonely living alone, especially considering I work at home.Comment

I've had plenty of bad roommates. Saying it was a nightmare is a complete understatement.
You always need to lay down the rules early or you'll be asking for trouble.
My current roommate and I get along perfect. Have had no problems whatsoever. When interviewing people, try to find someone with a common interest. It really helps.PHAT SERVERS - Quality dedicated hosting at a quality price!

1. Nobody borrowing your clothes
2. Nobody "forgetting" to leave you messages.
3. Nobody eating your food.
4. ...and a fellow poster was on the right track--a lot of girls don't like to date men with roommates.
5. Nobody else to clean up after.
6. No arguing over the remote for the main TV
7. No fighting for turns on the Internet
....and the list goes on. I've had roommates and I've lived alone for many years and I wouldn't have it any other way.Need a Writer? Contact Me. I write quality descriptions, short erotic stories, quality one-liners.. whatever you need.Comment

Yeah dont get roomates, these idiots rely on me, I am the only one with a vehicle, satellite, fooseball tables, laundry shit, televisions and soo much more. Our house is unreal too, its huge and I even found the fucker.. Like sly says, you gotta lay out the rules early.....
One of the "girlfriends" has all these fights with her parents.... she is so rich it is disgusting, so she thinks its fun to get back at her parents all the time by walking out and living with us, she's here about 5 nights a week and doesnt pay fuck all, not to mention parks behind me and blocks me in (one of these days I am going to get her car towed)
I am sick of paying the bills and having to get money from these deadbeats who rely on OSAP (ontario student loan program)
Not to mention, since everyone pretty much calls this place "home" people I dont even recognize just walk in all the time (no knocking or doorbells), we also are like a full time storage facility for everyones crap they cant fit in our place. (again our house is huge for a student residence)
Living on my own should be an experience I look forward too! Or possibly just getting a roomate I dont know at all that has a car and money and getting a another really nice placeComment

I am married now but one of the hardest things for me was learning how to cook for only one. I was always the house cook. I don't know about you but i love having roomates. Of course sometimes they can give you hard times but i hate being alone, i can't stand it. And i'm used to having people in the house. At least now that i'm young. When i will get married i will probably change my point of view, i don't knowProAdult My number one AVSComment
