We have to work hard at this if we want to have jobs in the future that we control and not controlled by a bunch of lawyers with patents.
If Acacia are not put down with an mighty slam so other companies waiting in the wings are not shown clearly this is not a business to be messed with, we will lose eventually.
The patent legal game is simple, Acacia can lose this in court but win in the boardrooms. If they pick up $1,000,000 in licenses and spend $500,000 defending they made a half a million profit from a piece of bullshit.
What warning bells does that send to the next in line, or Acacia not to come back with another patent that will be invalidated? It teaches them they can make money out of us.
They will also think, how many times will the weak and spineless cave in to pay us and how many times can the strong afford or have the stomach to fight?
You want to be doing this all again next year and the year after?
