Easy to agree with me, when I state the obvious. Too bad some people do not get it, will never get it. Personally, I hope to be out of the porn biz by the time I have a family.
Hand your empire over to me, Brad. I will be happy to take over.
Blacklisting people won't help.... You can blacklist whomever you want, but that won't stop them from showing up the hotel - it will only keep them out of certain parties. They'll still be there, and still cause trouble.
hmmm... not to say that wanting to take your kids to a dinner is wrong but if it involves the potential for shop talk then it should definitely be a no no.
As far as taking kids to conventions.. WTF are you people thinking? I actually saw a mother at the Florida show at one of the entrace doors to the show floor with a kid in a stroller and another one hanging onto the outside of it. Someone should have called the damn cops on her because that's nothing short of neglect and child abuse.
Vegas is no place for kids. From the ads in the cabs now to the billboards to the illegals on the streets handing out the hooker cards every evening you should be more responsible and take them to disney land. According to the reports i've been reading Vegas is going back to an Adults only resort on the strip at least. Treasure Island is going to redo it's attractions so that they are move appealing to adults and not kids and I think that the others are following suit. I go to Vegas and shows to have an adult getaway and not to listen to and see other people's kids. You will never find anyone any more kid friendly than myself but there is a time and place for kids and around other adult webmasters, at porn conventions and the Vegas strip are not considered the places or the times for them!
Sleazy get your facts straight before you offer your opinion. It was not a porn convention . It is pretty sad when a bunch of people in this industry can't get together and talk about anything but porn.
Ian. I didn't see this; or I would have responded.
It was a lovely holiday party and many of your family was in attendance. Your children are adorable. No. I was not uncomfortable with them there.
It was also a different kind of setting.
Had I invited you to my house for dinner, your children would have been welcome.
Also, it was YOUR party that YOU threw. Whom you invite is certainly your prerogative.
If it were my party, I would opt for a 'no kid' attendance.
When I go to Vegas, I resent kids being where I am. I go to Vegas to get away from children. I love my son and my nephews and they are over my house quite often.
But, I've reached an age where I like being in places, filled with adults. Where I don't have to watch what I say.
Nothing personal, Ian. Really.
Then what the hell is this all about. I asked .....remmeber. I was going to a restauraunt down the street. Heard about the dinner and then asked if kids were cool. Aaron said no- I didn't bring them. We went to Wild Ginger (is that 5 star restaurant?) No this thread is about calling CPS

LOL Lose my invitation to your next party.
Talk about being a fucktard.
I guess I will cross that phone call to you off my list of things to do today. Looks like my initial replies were dead nuts on.
I cant wait for Atlanta.
Should be very interesting!
And people wonder why I stay in a different hotel than where the show is at . . .
Originally posted by kaylacam OK...here is *MY* take on this...keep in mind that I have a FAR different point of view than most people here:
When security has taken the events coordinator out of her bed at 3am to deal with a loud crowd smoking outside...she will NOT be happy!
When security says, "Smoke them fast and get inside." That is NOT the time to light up a fresh cig. It is time to go into your room. Stop whining about it, there was nothing more I could do.
I almost went to JAIL to keep everyone from getting kicked out of the DoubleTree. By the time security came and got me out of bed, they had printed out a list of everyone who had registered under our promo-code and had high-lighted the names/room numbers of those that they considered 'problems'. By the time people came rolling in on Saturday night/morning, security WAS looking for a reason to kick us al out of their hotel. Friday night, there had been extensive damages to their property.
Having to cut deals and buy off non-convention hotel guests is rediculous! I hope I am not in that position again!
Hearing about the problems that occured Friday night (from bottles being thrown on to the marble floor of the atrium to drunken conventioners sleeping in the elevators) during my wrap-up meeting Saturday was humiliating! I had been braced to hear how we were loud, drunk and sloppy, but out and out DESTRUCTIVE?! Since WHEN does pulling the plants out of the planters and flinging them down several floors in to the atrium seem like a good idea? Or having contests throwing glass bottles down 6-8 floors to listen to them crash on the the marble? What if someone had been walking down there and had gotten pegged by a bottle? Since WHEN is it acceptable to SLEEP in the elevator when you HAVE a ROOM?!
Grow up people, if the GFY Drunk Cam Girl can pull HER shit together for the weekend, why the FUCK can't everyone else?!
That is my rant...
Assclown Bob Rice wants to BANG your credit card!

Ok, Ian...This has gotten way out of control.
You did ask. The answer was no. This conversation has nothing to do with CPS. Whoever recommended that, apparently, does not get what we're talking about, you and I.
That the consensus of opinion is 'no kids'....is merely a consensus of opinion. People are entitled to that.
