Tam, where I come from we call that a webber. It isn't usually mozzarella but you can have it. My sister would litteraly ride her bike 3 miles each way to get them in the summer.Originally posted by Tam
they split a huge hoagie down the middle and put slices of mozzarella on it then pack it full of simmered steak topped with lettuse and tomato. It is stock with mayo but I hate mayo........ get that and an order of his bacon/cheese potato skins and I am in heaven.............

If were talking Deli Sandwhiches then, Herb K gots to step into here and throw it down.
1. Philly cheesesteak - Since I am from and live in the Philly burbs now, There are a ton of places to get a kick ass cheesesteak. The reason they rock out here?, its the amoroso's rolls. Nothing else is acceptable.
2. Hero in Brooklyn - Boards Head Cracked Pepper Turkey, Swiss cheese with mayo, lettuce, tomates and pickles. That is sandwhich heaven.
Also, Subway aint a hoagie, thats a bullshit excuse for one, as much as philly has the game cornered on steaks, we also have an equally tight game in the hoagie - hero game.
Thats the real deal.
