Oh yeah, Thats the way "they" talk.. I beleive they call it "jive"
For example, When you would normally say.
"I had a good dinner last night"
They would say: "Yo dat joint we ate last night was off da hook"
It takes some time, but after a while, you can pretty much understand most of it.
