I duno about the stats in that flash, but depleted Uranium shells should be banned, I 100% agree with this.. The pentagon was warned years before the 1st Gulf War that these shells were a very serious heath hazard.. but the brass had a hard on for what they can do..

I'll agree they are a great advantage on the battlefield but the overall effect of these shells is of major health concern.. not only for our foes , but our own troops as well. The shit health problems that have happened over the last 10 years should be a major wake up call.. too bad the Pentagon buries this from the general public

The last three American Presidents disagree with you...and all three engaged our military against Iraq and this sheep agrees with them...and vehemently disagree with you. If it were not for the actions of Saddam and the Baathist party there would not have been any US depleated Uranium shells fired. The shells were designed for one purpose and that is to take out armored vehicles...and I suggest to you that an armored vehicle is hazardous to the health of a soldier...more so than the round that takes the armored vehicle out.

Shortly later someone in the media talked with the maker of the shelter, and he said bunker busters could not get through his shelter and that the only way to penetrate it was to use a tactical nuke.

Is it possible they used depleated uranium for this?

Depleted Uranium rounds are used by our tanks and armor killing aircraft i.e. the .30 mil round used by Wart Hogs and Apaches...because of the hardness of the metal. The high velocity weapons used by our tanks and armor killing aircraft can send the hard depleated Uranium round through several inches of steel. It might possibly be used in the penetrating cone of a bunker buster missile or bomb...I don't know.

The bunkers used by Saddam were made by the Germans and sold by the Germans to Saddam. In the 1st Gulf War our bunker busters would not penetrate the shelters...but during the 2nd Gulf war...we had bunker busters that would penetrate the shelters.
