Do you know of a company that custom makes "made to fit" corsets for an affordable price?

Has anyone ever worn corsets to "body-sculpt" as a long term practice for permanent results?. (corsetting)

I think they are sexy and to be quite honest--comfortable when they fit right. "the miracle posture improver".

i've got about 9 from http://www.versatile-fashions.com/ over the years, great service and product.

they are good for posture but they weaken your back muscles, you end up relying on the corset to support you so your lumbar muscles atrophy.

WOW... quick responses. Is it true that I could attain permanent results with patience and time regarding my waistline?

Well, I have odd measurements. I am a 36C-25-33.5. (60 inches tall) I obviously have narrow hips as I?m a size one and I believe a slightly smaller waistline would look more attractive and I don?t want/can?t afford cosmetic surgery right now.

Last question: Regarding the muscle issue. In your personal opinion... what if a person combined corsetting with excercise. (i.e. 14 hrs/day corset....1 hr. day exercise working abdominal/back muscles). Before I get flamed....... I'm not looking for medical advice... just personal experience I could gain knowledge from.

Great place to look for corsets, and there's a lady who hand-makes them from measurements, and there's also a great deal of info there to be found.

Order one just slightly smaller than the natural measurements. If you're looking for one that's going to stay the distance, order one with firm boning.

Wear a t-shirt under it, or else dust your body with baby powder, or you'll chafe like hell. THAT hurts. Trust me.

I have found that they are very sexy when worn with a nice peasant blouse that's been left semi-untied.

honestly i wouldn't suggest wearing one for longer than a few hours a day. i know a few ladies in real life that "corsetted" for years and they can't even pick their own children up because their backs are so weakened.

i only wear mine for shoots, a few hours a month tops.

excercise would help of course, but you are talking about entirely changing the way your body holds itself up.

it would work for what you want it to do, just don't let your back muscles shrivel up and die or your Golden Years will be utter hell.

I would think that narrow hops might make corsets more effective. I'm not sure how much can permanently change, without risking health trouble, though.

Hey CrazyNaked........ I visited the site you suggested. VERY REASONABLE pricing. I'm on my home pc and don't have ICQ.... do you have any other chat programs or can you email me because I have very little knowledge of the practicality of corsets and I would like some input on the most comfortable and streamlined fabrics (not to be detected under clothing). I've already decided I want an "under the bust" corset.... the rest is like japanese to me. With my luck I'll end up ordering one made of pleather with chains hanging off of it by mistake.
