You can also re install it on top of it's self. You don't lose any of your info plus your ready to go again in 2 minutes.
That's what I do when I start getting errors.
You can find the patch from there site where you downloaded Trill from. You can find the link in the read me file that came with it.

i'm using version 0.74b made september of 2002, which i just downloaded 2 days ago. Everytime I connect with AIM it crashes trillian --
trillian.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You need to restart the program.
an error log has been created.
here is the crap in the error log
The application, , generated an application error The error occurred on 02/25/2003 @ 14:09:00.745 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 010B659D (initControl)
Yah that means nothing to me other than windows is crap...

I have the pro version and it was crashing everytime I tried to open it up. I downloaded the C patch and it works perfectly -
Buy the pro version - it's not much money and it's nice to support those guys!
