0-60 times for regular vette are like .3 faster. better interior, retractable hardtop, better handling and overal better car trumps the horsepower.

if you want real performance buy a bike. cars are blah.

0-60 is close. Then again, that is a supercharged benz against a n/a vette with 20 less horsepower? Doesn't look good for the Benz. You should look more at 1/4 mile times, etc. Benz is nice, but not that great. And nowhere near the vette in looks or performance.
Besides Vette is good 'ol USA. I wouldn't buy anything German, thank you very much.

i know plenty of people with various models of mercedes and they're excellent quality. they're very reliable, but yes when something breaks its damn expensive. usually 7 years before something major happens, usually longer.

The interior of the Vette is the biggest pile of garbage EVER! Performance wise, the Z06 rocks and is hard to beat for the money. Spend about 10K extra on one adding some 1 piece Recaro's, new steering wheel, Linginfelter snorkel intake, headers, full exhaust and drop it on a full HR suspension and it's a great ride.

From the factory, crap. With mods, great. Simple formula if you have the $$$$.

And by the way for whoever said they don't make a Z06 convertible check here and go buy one if you must have it without the top. http://www.caravaggiocorvettes.com/

I drove (borrowed) a '02 convertible vette for a few months thanks to a friend and had a blast.... I wish I could afford my own!!! If anyone finds a used silver coupe 2000+ with less than 35,000 miles on it for a reasonable price.... LOOK ME UP!

I don't know how many there are in Winnipeg, I just moved here this Winter. I assume there are at least couple, but it's not that common of a car. If you think I'm bullshitting, when I take it out I'll take some pics of me in it representing with the GFY shirt. I bought it before I moved here, lol, in Vancouver I could get a lot more use out of it.
