                                      You won't go wrong with any of the three of us, to be honest. (I haven't looked much into how SpookyCash handle payout, but their sites are certainly top-notch.)

                                      Pick the program with the sites you want, and the features you want. No reason not to use more than one, or all three, either.

Our stuff converts well, so I can't complain. But it might be a good idea to offer affiliates different tour options for different sorts of traffic. What sort of traffic do you have? I would way rather someone give me suggestions to improve than keep quiet and never get new perspectives. I'm not by the computer with the BarelyEvil.com e-mail on it right now, but I just heard the gist of it. One important thing is that, if you sign up to promote both BarelyEvil.com and GothicSluts.com then you get paid regardless of which site your surfer signs up for. So you have more than one chance to make the sale to them. Do you think it would be a good idea to do an optional no leaks tour? With no exit console, we might need to do a lower payout. On the other hand, if affiliates send more traffic and we make more direct sales, that is better anyway, so maybe it could be the same.

                                                                                  as far as exits, if they're done right they should not hurt sales and only help website owner with more sign ups and webmaster sending traffic if paid on exits.

                                                                                  Why are goth type sites have such cheap memberships and also offer no reccuring options ? I've seen this pretty much accross the board with most sites in this niche.

                                                                                                                                                      I might replace it with my own text (it will take about 5m) , or maybe I'll just forget about the whole template.

                                                                                                                                                      When you create a logo (a real one) and sell it to someone it's not your logo anymore. If that is the logo for blood dolls, then everyone creating galleries for that site should be able to use the logo. This could be an interesting topic to discuss further if the logo was worth it, but please... maybe you should snag logos! Then you could sell them for a decent price too...

But you are fronting as a designer, using others graphics.

                                                                                                                                                                  The way I see it, the moral of this story is not to use someone's elses graphics in your designs without their permission. Even if you are doing it to promote their stuff. I expect that of people promoting my sites-- ask, and you will probably receive. But ask.

                                                                                                                                                                  The way it panned-out this time isn't exactly how it will go every time, but it still makes it clear. That logo is now mine, but it is fletch's work. If you wanted to use it, you should have asked me first. Under the circumstances, I think Fletch is right about your use, though a little extreme in his attitude. After all, its a mistake a lot of people make, when making things to promote a sponsor.

                                                                                                                                                                              I had the whole misunderstanding sorted out with the owner of the site, wich is the actual owner of the design too. He was quite nice, he still wants the template with a different title, he didnt say it was a shitty design. Its his logo and he is not acusing me of stealing, so why do I have to take shit from Fletch?

Nor did I use that logo in my galleries when Gothweb asked me to do galleries, I made all my own graphics.

He was quite nice, he still wants the template with a different title, he didnt say it was a shitty design. Its his logo and he is not acusing me of stealing, so why do I have to take shit from Fletch?
                                                                                                                                                                                      Bottom line its not cool to charge $40 for something that obviously is designed around the logo you took from someplace else.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Fletch designed that pretty logo, and does not feel it is okay for you to charge someone else for it, on any level. And I agree.

                                                                                                                                                                                      If you are going to charge people for graphic design services, you should make sure the graphics are not tainted, stolen, borrowed, etc. Since you said it only takes 5 minutes to do, then spend the extra time and make the galleries all original.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Does this make sense to you? How would you feel if I copied half of your gallery template and resold the new one for $60? Would this be okay with you?

I appreciate the thoughtful notion and all, but image 'reappropriation' is a very very serious issue to us. As some of you are all too aware, it's taken us quite long enough to come around to just being comfortable letting sponsor content out. We take our creative works very seriously and personally. Yes, I may have some of my friends here and elsewhere work on some gallery templates, but I just wanted to clarify that issues such as unauthorized image reappropriation send up a red flag for us. We've had far too many johnny come lately alterna-p0rn sites come along after us and gank designs, code, membership terms text, let alone content. I certainly feel Fletch's steam on that front. But, like I said, I'm not mad at'cha Brujah , just sorting things out a bit. Take care.

God DAYUMM! I mean shit, MANY galleries use the fucking LOGO's from the sites they're promoting. If you gotta be that anal about it, fuck it. Who the hell wants to bother sending you traffic so you can bitch about a gallery template using your logo. Keep the logo. The traffic can go elsewhere.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      Brujah- it wasn't the logo taken from the blood dolls site, it was taken from a hosted gallery Fletch did custom for Blood Dolls. Its just a little different from a designers perspective.
