                                                                                              im in same situation with new jersey insurace.. got 6 points and have a 1991 acura legend coupe, fuckin insurance is high as hell on these cars and my points dont help much.. i took collission off, saving a G, made my deductible higher, and my insurance is still 3600$ / year. would have been 5300 full coverage, go figure..

                                                                                                  caprice, towncar, continental, t/a, cutlass would be good choices. those cutlasses, esp. with the 2.6 v6 will run forever and will be fairly reliable, so should the caprice (probably a 5.0 v8, but a v6 would be a good choice). t/a should be fairly reliable too. the towncar and continental would be good, comfortable choices, and should be fairly reliable, but if the air suspension goes out, you'll pay thousands to replace it.

                                                                                                  say away from that turbo lebaron and intrepid for sure. intrepids are well-known for losing their trannies, and they have a wierd setup (fwd with a forward engine, not transverse). the turbo lebaron is just asking for it. older cars, i'd probably stay away from too *unless* they're "grandma" cars... then they're golden.

                                                                                                                                                      that was some crazy fun. radiator hose broke. car died at a stop light (after stopping to buy the new hose). started it, died again, smoke came out of the vents. started to push it, the paint on the roof started bubbling and shit. got it as far as i could out of traffic and she went up. was lucky it didn't catch the leaky fuel tank.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  "if you hit a person, backup over them to make sure they are dead, the insurance company will thank you!"
