This is the question many people have right now.
I spend most of my free time around the motocross scene. Both bikes have come back with rave reviews. The Honda is going to have an electric start feature with the 250 model.
The kawasaki is in its first year with a four stroke....it is also the first bike ever designed and engineered by Suzuki and Kawasaki. For this reason i might be a bit skeptical. The reports have come back that the Kaw is a great bike. You cannot argue the reliability of a Honda though.
The Older brotyher of the 250 the CRF 450 has quickly become the most celebrated motocross bike of all time. If it were me getting into buying the bike (which i have seriously considered the 250 thumpers) I would vote for the Honda.
If you can wait for the electric start model (the CRF 250x) I would do thaT. If you are not going to be racing the extra 8 pounds will be worth every pound when you do not have to kick that thumper after you wad it up.

James Bubba Stewart will no doubt sweep the entire series on the green thumper.....but at the end of the day I know I am not Bubba
