Been to Vancouver once. Nice and clean, surrounded by snow capped mountains. Looks like a place where there's a lot to do. partied down at Richards on Richards and some other clubs.
Originally posted by Lev I am pretty much used to Boston by now, been here 8 years. Nice and clean city, but I rather move to a much warmer place, like Florida
i used to own a couple of Dunkin Donuts in upstate NY and had to spend 2 months in Braintree at Dunkin Donuts University to be able to open a franchise - loved the area.

I know "sun" and "sand" are foreign to you and your girls but the tropical beach and bay coastline like the one in the pic generally is not considered a swamp

Yes, and here in Oregon, unlike Florida, mosquitos and other biting bugs are almost unknown.

It was a lighthearted payout given the renowned paleness of his girls (which I like).
the pic he's referring to is actually a strange pic and makes it seem more tropical than it is.. it's the view from mr-yellow's house. Anyways I'm not worried, this area is world renowned for it's beaches - they actually had the '93 world bodyboarding championship on the obscured beach in the far left of the pic..
It's full of bays so it might seem swampy when acutally the australian coast is a very dry environ till you hit the far north.
just happy snaps.. should have taken some on the beach.

sounds like you are on the gold coast? it looks awesome to me.
I live across the street from a sandy beach and the ocean and am still downtown, but the water temp. is still cold enough at the height of summer that you hardly find anyone enjoying the water.

on that basis I guess we are blessed - as it rarely gets so cold that you need a lot of heat and even less that it gets so hot that you need air con, but best of all IMHO - we have very little humidity so its never sticky...
Fuck yeah, I would move in a heartbeat.. Out of Louisiana directly to FLORIDA! That is my dream state, I have never been there, but I used to dream of it alot! What I wouldn't do to get there. I will wait until I make my first mill.

You live in Louisiana and you've never been to Florida?
Get in your car and hit the gas, you'll be there in a few hours!
Take a road trip over there and see it if it's your dream.

I hear that although Nelson has residents that take a lot of pride in where they live and they really look after the place well, a large percentage of the wealth and revenue to all the town businesses is a direct result of the massive outdoor marijuana crops that grow in the Slocan valley. Basically, without the drug money - the town's economy would suffer.

you gotta love Canada... and hey, West Island Montreal... tons of people grow the stuff in their basements
I was walking up north, minding my own business with my GF. The next thing we knew we were in the middle of a crop of the stuff. We trying to figure out how many planets we could walk away with when a couple rough looking guys told us to take a hike... they didn't even offer a small bud to keep our mouths shout.
